UNTIL OCTOBER 29   Artworks in Glass exhibition, The Gallery, Parndon Mill, off Edinburgh Way, Harlow. Glasshaus XII features artists who have studios at Parndon Mill - Heike Brachlow, Yuki Kokai, Jon Lewis and Ewa Wawrzyniak along with associates Karen Murphy and James Lethbridge. 
They are joined by other glass artists. Several of the artists are exhibiting pieces which have recently been shown in the British Glass Biennale, including the sculpture by Heike Brachlow which won the Sellers prize. 
Most of the techniques of glass making are represented - kiln casting and sand casting, fusing, stained glass, jewellery making and of course glassblowing.

SATURDAY, OCTOBER 14   De Merc Chamber Choir concert, St Peter's Church, High Street, Roydon (7.30pm). Programme features madrigals, partsongs, sea shanties, Vertue by Judith Weir and a selection of Beatles songs.

Proceeds go towards the work of St Peter's Church.
     
WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 15   Harlow Council Housing Services' Autumn Leaseholder Forum, Civic Centre, The Water Gardens, Harlow (7pm). 
Presentations include Service Charge Actuals and Universal Credit and how it may affect landlords. 
There will be a Market Place when tenants can talk to the Council Home Ownership Team and contractors on a one-to-one basis about any Home Ownership related issues.
