UNTIL SUNDAY, JUNE 24    Exhibition entitled 'Walking on Ancient Ways', The Gallery, Parndon Mill, off Elizabeth Way, Harlow. Paintings by Teresa Pemberton rooted in landscape and including her response to excavations on Dartmoor. 
The paintings are complemented by ceramics by Kathryn Hearn. Her sculptural porcelain vessels are inspired by the Cambridgeshire Fens and the stoic attitudes of fenlanders.
     
SATURDAY, JUNE 16   Matching Farmers Market, Matching Village Hall, Matching Tye (10am-noon). Admission free. 
Various stalls selling meat, fish, bread, fruit and vegetables, woodwork, gifts.

WEDNESDAY, JUNE 27   Harlow Council Housing Services holding its Spring Tenants' Forum, Civic Centre, The Water Gardens, College Square, Harlow (7pm). 
The event is for tenants of Harlow Council only.

FRIDAY, JULY 6   De Merc Chamber Choir concert, Summer Celebration! - St John's ARC, St John's Church, Market Street, Harlow (1.30pm). Conductor Alison Fisher. 
The programme will feature an hour of a capella music with works by Elgar, Stanford, Arensky, Tchaikovsky and some lighter items from the 1930s. Retiring collection.
